The
PsychExperiments server
is a dual-processor Compaq Proliant computer with 1.5 GB of RAM, dual Xeon 700
Mhz processors, RAID controller, redundant power supply and hot-swap capability
running Windows 2000, Microsoft SQL Server, and BACKOFFICE. The server is housed
in the Center for Supercomputing Research, which provides physical security,
uninterruptible power, and maintenance and backup services. The server was
purchased with joint funding from the National Science Foundation and the
University of Mississippi.
