Dawn Blasko - Penn State Erie

Dawn Blasko is an Associate
Professor of Psychology at Penn State Erie. Her research interests include the
psychology of language, individual differences in cognition and cognitive
neuroscience. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in psychology from
Marywood College and her MA and PhD in Experimental psychology at SUNY
Binghamton. She teaches courses in research methods, cognition and diversity
studies and uses the Psych experiments site in several classes. She has also
used Authorware for web-based data collection in an interdisciplinary project on
spatial visualization. She enjoys
outreach activities including partnerships with local schools and organizing
on-site science and technology fairs for all age groups. She has developed
educational software and has conducted teacher training programs on gender and
achievement.
