The Accuracy of Response Timing by Authorware Programs. (This is a technical paper we wrote in 2002. It was accepted for publication at Behavior Research Methods Instruments and Computers pending the inclusion of additional data. We collected the additional data, but have not yet found time to revise the original. It is posted here for use by anyone interested in using Authorware to develop experiments requiring the measurement of reaction times. The bottom line is that Authorware rivals E-Prime for accuracy under most conditions.) |
